In collaboration with Mick Way of Theatretech consultants, Glantre was contracted by the British School in Muscat to provide a full theatre package for the school’s project to refurbish an under-utilised gymnasium into a theatre, assembly and presentation space, whilst retaining the use of the space as an examination hall.

For this project, Glantre developed an overhead rigging package with ten winches, fifteen fixed barrel sets, and custom designed proscenium towers, along with house, mid-stage and masking curtain tracks from Triple E.

Production lighting is from Zero88 with Chilli RCD + bypass dimmers and the FLX console. Luminaires are a mixture of Strand (Selecon) and ETC complemented by a Robert Juliat Roxie followspot.

House lighting is the GDS ArcSystem and BlueSystem with Strand Vision.net control.

Glantre also provided audio, video, video/audio show relay, paging, technical intercom, and IR assistive listening along with a custom designed stage manager’s desk.
