Glantre was awarded a contract by refurbishment specialists GPF Lewis to provide an audio visual, lighting, and drapes package for the refurbishment project of historic Dean’s Hall at Berkhamsted School.

Technical consultancy and high-level design were provided by Charcoalblue, and Glantre developed a full design and working drawing package, going on to build, install, and commission the audio system, video projection, assistive listening, teams room functionality, active lecterns, room control and automation systems.

There was a general desire to retain the historic aesthetic and feel for the hall and Glantre worked closely with DesignEngine Architects to develop a solution which was as unobtrusive and sympathetic as possible.
