Elaborate stage and forestage lift systems with sophisticated controls and extensive safety features to the requirements of NSW WorkCover Authority.  Lifts are based on Spiralift mechanisms with variable speeds of up to 9m / minute.  While load and travel arrangements vary, one forestage lift is of high capacity (74 tons) to accommodate a full size swimming tank while the upstage lift has a long travel of more than 9m down to lower basement level for load-in purposes. Complete technical systems package for reconstruction and extension of important 2000 seat theatre dating from 1928 under contract to Fletcher Construction Australia. Scope includes 101 single purchase counterweight suspension sets, 4 motorised rigging sets, 24 cable reeling drums, safety curtain, motorised auditorium ceiling traps, sound, communications, stage management systems, an extensive DMX network, distribution equipment and houselight dimming.  Principal sub-contractors included Australian companies ITE, Creative Audio and Lightmoves Technologies. Theatre consultants – Entertech. Contract value £525,000.
