Every stage installation consists of a number of custom elements, particularly machinery such as orchestra lifts, stage wagons and turntables. Amongst Glantre's special skills is the ability to advise on optimum equipment configuration and the selection of the most suitable drives and mechanisms - electric or hydraulic, screwjack or scissor, or innovative proprietary products such as Spiralift or Serapid chain.
Glantre's rigging expertise extends from hemp and counterweight sets through to sophisticated variable speed powered multi-line sets and point hoists.
Other important components of stage installations are tracks for the horizontal movement of scenery, drapes, acoustic elements and even performer flying.
