Norsk Data, Head Offices, Newbury
Supply and installation of complete mechanical, electrical, plumbing and sanitary services for three multi‑storey office buildings for the UK Head Office of a leading European computer company. A central air-conditioning system is provided for all buildings. Water cooled chillers with associated dry cooler units, pumps, pressurisation units, storage vessels, water treatment plant, heating/cooling and reclaim coils are all located in the basement plantrooms. Office areas are fitted with ceiling panels served by chilled water via a distribution pipework system as well as a supply and extract ventilation system. This provides the facility for full fresh air or minimum fresh air/re-circulation. Heating is through electrical coils fitted to plantroom ductwork. Electrical services included main power distribution, lighting, fire alarm and telecommunication systems.

The Artificial sky, Watford Electrical installation works for the Building Research Establishment under contract to the Department of the Environment.

Refurbishment of electrical installations including complete new LT power distribution network.
Cable Factory, Baquba
Major turnkey contract for State Engineering Industrial Design and Construction Company, Ministry of Industry. Contract covers design, supply, erection, technology transfer, commissioning, training and two years operational support for communication and telephone cables factory. Scope of works includes steel frame building of 138 x 48 metres with complete air-conditioning, mechanical and electrical services together with all cable manufacturing, insulating and armouring machinery, laboratory and testing facilities, materials handling and stores for raw materials and finished products. Mechanical and electrical services include central air-conditioning system with mezzanine level plant installation, clean rooms, plumbing and sanitary, llkv substation, power distribution, lighting, alarm systems and standby diesel generator.

Shamaiyah Tobacco Factory
Supply and installation of electrical distribution and control wiring network including 1000 amp overhead busbar trunking for fully automatic tobacco processing and cigarette making plant under two separate sub‑contracts to principal machinery and services contractors, Legg Ltd and Molins PLC. Project under the supervision of the State Company for Industrial Projects on behalf of the Iraqi State Tobacco Enterprise.

Supply of fire protection and mechanical equipment to Kuwaiti contractor for buildings complex in Basrah. Also project management and co‑ordination work for all electrical and mechanical services.

Design and supply of llkV overhead line comprising poles, brackets, insulators, copper conductor, stays, lighting arrestors, fused isolators and end boxes.

Supply and installation of three split type air cooled condensing units and associated refrigeration pipework for Iraqi Airways flight simulator building, Baghdad.
Scientific Research Institute, Computer Centre
Supply and installation of 180kVA static type UPS module with 15 minute battery system inclusive of all cabling, distribution and special air conditioning.

Directorate of Military Works, Rehabilitation Centre
Supply and installation of all electrical and mechanical services, lifts, plumbing and sanitary systems for eight storey 120 bed facility in Baghdad for war wounded and disabled. Scope of works includes main llkV 1.5MVA substation, 3000KVA stand-by diesel generator and central air conditioning system with three 106 ton chillers.

Supply and installation of 33/11kV substation equipped with 10 panel double busbar 33W switchboard, two 16MVA transformers, 16 panel 11W switchboard and auxiliaries.
State Enterprise for Vegetable Oils, Beiji Substation
Design, supply and installation of main substation with llkV switchboard, two 2.5MIVA transformers for parallel operation, LT switchboard with power factor correction bank and all interconnections and services. Also secondary substation 630WA.

Baghdad Water Supply Administration, Raw Water Pumps and Electrical
Two contracts for supply of raw water pumps, pipework, 11W switchgear, LT switchgear and motor controls. HT and LT cables and accessories. Contract responsibilities included site supervision and training of client's engineers.

State Organisation for Iraqi Civil Aviation, No Break Power Supply
Design, supply, installation, commissioning and maintenance of two 250WA Rolls Royce diesel generators, two 75WA static type UPS modules with 20 minutes battery system together with alterations and additions to existing 11k. network, LT distribution and all associated control equipment.

University of Mosul, Computer Centre
Supply of lighting equipment, switchboards and motor control centre. Engineering design and supervision of electrical services for tire buildings were also provided.
Directorate of Military Works, Tikrit Airforce Hospital
Supply of complete electrical and mechanical services installations under sub‑contract to Bourge Contracting Company including main llkv 3MVA substation, 500WA standby generator, central air conditioning system with three 350 ton chillers, heating, plumbing and sanitary, kitchen and laundry equipment, cold stores, lift and specialised hospital equipment. Includes site supervision and preparation of engineering drawings for E & M contractor.

State Organisation of Housing Dora Housing Project Area 1 and 2
Supply, installation and commissioning of complete electrification network for 3000 dwellings at Dora (Baghdad) under two sub‑contracts to Joint Venture Makzoumi ‑ Lemminkainen‑Polar. Scope of works included one 33/11 kV substation equipped with two 31.5MVA transformers, 20 panel 11W switchboard with vacuum circuit breakers, auxiliaries and fire protection equipment. Also fourteen 11W ring main substations, street lighting system, complete power and telephone cable distribution systems and three sewage pumping stations.

Supply of complete new HT and LT electrical distribution network and standby power supply comprising six llkV substations for total load 10MVA, five 450kVA standby generating sets, HT and LT cabling and high pressure sodium street lighting installation for the University campus. Son et Lumiere Presentation, Malacca
Project management and engineering services for major permanent Son et Lumiere for Ministry of Tourism under subcontract to Philips Malaysia. Also supply of electrical distribution equipment, switchgear, cabling, standby diesel generating plant, control and dimmer racks together with supervision of local civil and electrical sub ‑contractors.

Supply of electrical equipment for major housing complex with 8000 dwelling units. Scope of supply included distribution pillars, cabling and diesel generating plant.

Supply and installation of all electrical services for major hotel with 350 bedrooms. A subsequent contract covered provision of standby diesel generating plant of capacity 21MW.

Diplomatic Quarter Sports Club, Riyadh
Complete supply and engineering services package for electrical and swimming pool equipment for main contractor Kuk Dong Corporation, Korea. Electrical equipment included HT and LT switchgear, motor control centres, transformers, lighting fittings, LV systems, cabling and installation materials. Swimming pool equipment included complete filtration plant, wave generators and aqua slides.

Scope of contract included main 11kV switchgear, standby diesel generating set IMW, 12 package substations, LT distribution equipment, HT and LT cabling, interior wiring and accessories, interior and exterior lighting and specialist facilities including conference hall simultaneous translation system, CCTV systems, CATV system, various public address and communication systems and fire alarm systems.

SWCC Housing Project
Supply, engineering, supervision and commissioning of air conditioning installation for the whole project which included full central air conditioning for 95 villas, 13 apartment blocks, a medical centre, a community centre and Mosque. Project executed under sub‑contract to main contractors, Yulsan Construction Company and Samwhan Corporation of Korea.
