As well as lighting, sound and rigging, Glantre provides a wide range of multi-disciplinary skills for many market sectors, including theme parks and other leisure attractions. Beyond these spheres Glantre's capabilities have been used in various ways: a revolving restaurant, a vehicle impact test centre and a leading public house chain are just a few examples of the company's diversity.
But Glantre's skills are not confined to land. As market leader in the specialist field of entertainment technology installations for cruise ships, Glantre's client list includes the world's leading cruise operators and shipyards. These contracts, together with a high percentage of the land based projects, take Glantre into the far corners of the globe.
In fact Glantre has been one of the few British companies to have twice been honoured with the Queen's Award for Export Achievement. Over 85% of the company's work is carried out overseas, with projects spanning 35 countries and five continents.
